 Prompt Response: Creating my own origin myth helped me better understand why cultures use stories to explain the origins of people, places, traditions, and natural events because it is cool to think about where all these things came from. I also think it is cool to write your own because it gives you a different understanding for them. The choices I made was focusing on other planets as well as earth because I don't think I really never hear about the creation of those and I thought it would be cool to come up with a story relating to them.

Summary: Today in class we wrote our own origin myth and used a reference to do so.

Reflection: I really enjoyed this I thought it was a cool activity to come up with a story of how Earth was created without any limitations and I thought that was fun to do.

“How are you different from others”

Response: No two people are the same, everyone is different from one another. I think that that is cool. I am different from others in the way that I have different interests and beliefs than some people. But I also have the same as others. I think that it is so cool how everyone likes what they like and are still able to get along with one another but sometimes this can cause damage. Summary: Today in class we read a poem by Emily Dickson. Reflection: I thought that it was a good poem especially the more it was read there was more meaning the more it was read and it was short and simple.

 Prompt: In "because I could not stop for Death," Emily Dickinson present life as a ajourndy that eventually comes to an end. Some expirecnes in my life that have reminded me that time moves quickly are, weekends, breaks, and vacations. These expirecnes have affected the way I value my time by reminding me to make the most of the time I have. And when I'm thinking about it that motivates me to get up and go do something and not just sit around. Reflection: Today in class we read the poem "because I could not stop for death" my Emily Dickison, and we made drawings representing it as well as analyzing it. Summary:  I really liked being able to draw what we saw that the author was describing because poems are a lot of the time up to imterperatitation so this really helped me think about them a lot.
